SCRUM Body is the central certification body globally operating in more than 132 countries. SCRUM Body is a global certification body for Scrum and Agile certifications. We offer various levels of certifications to individuals and organizations. We have authored the Body of Knowledge for SCRUM and Agile methodology for the benefit of the community. Our Body of Knowledge for SCRUM and Agile methodology is a detailed and comprehensive knowledge body to deliver successful projects using Scrum and Agile methodology. SCRUM Body has authorized multiple organizations worldwide to deliver the trainings on the certifications offered by SCRUM Body which are named Authorized Training Organizations. SCRUM Body has authorized multiple organizations worldwide to conduct examinations on the certifications offered by SCRUM Body which are independent and are named Authorized Examination Organizations.
Scrum Body is a non-profit organization that encourages and invites professionals across the globe to contribute to the SCRUM environment and support SCRUM body to widespread adoption of SCRUM in real life. At SCRUM body, all profits earned from the certifications are used for a noble cause of spreading SCRUM environment. We are an ethical organisation and we do not work for profits. We give back to the society in form of education, conferences, awareness sessions.
Central certification body SCRUM Body was formed as a collaboration of exam institutes and small certification bodies. This attempt is an effort towards centralizing SCRUM efforts. This will help the SCRUM community to follow one common practice across the globes.
Its operations and mode or working was formally announced in the SCRUM world conference 2013 been held on 22nd July 2013 at Houston, United states. It was the view and joint decision of the examination institutes and small certification bodies that there needs to be a common, collaborative effort to centralize all the efforts made towards SCRUM and Agile. |

At SCRUM Body, we have our Experts from the SCRUM community who have developed and have been in the SCRUM environment since the birth of SCRUM.
Our Board of experts is headed by Edward Akerman.
SCRUM Body will lead your organization from the traditional software development to SCRUM mature organization. SCRUM Body will provide tools and techniques so that you can deliver using SCUM. SCRUM Body was formed in late 2008 by Edward Akerman, one of the founder member of SCRUM Body. Initially, Edward Akerman was a part other scrum certification organization but later got separated and formed SCRUM Body. He believes that SCRUM organizations should not work for profits but to serve the SCRUM community.
Daniel Hauptman our expert on panel heads the Enterprise Expert Pool System(EntExPool) along with Edward and is also responsible for delivery of SCRUM certifications. He heads a team of 8 experts who work along with Daniel to develop the Enterprise Expert Pool System(EntExPool). |

About our Expert lead |
Edward Akerman has hands-on experience in implementation and consulting SCRUM projects since past 25 years of his professional experience. Edward has been delivering enterprise solutions exclusively on SCRUM since past 8 years where SCRUM methodology was just born. He has an expertise in Application Management System and Application development. He has leads several projects in Agile and SCRUM with a strong expertise in implementing & leading Traditional projects, Agile software development projects, SCRUM projects in development and support environment. He has handled distributed teams ranging from 5 to 250 people and has delivered the best to the customers and stakeholders involved.
Past 8 years Edward has been using Scrum methodology to help organizations implement and deliver the best to their customers and stakeholders. He believes in transparency to improve the productivity of SCRUM team. He advocates delivering a shippable product which will add value to the user. He believes that, if SCRUM ethics and values are followed during the project lifecycle the project has no chances of failure. His role and contribution towards SCRUM Body is vital. He is involved planning with the Board of Experts to help them implement usability of agile methods to build robust organizations that can respond to an ever changing needs of customers. He advocates “Change is an integral part of SCRUM environment”. |
